Message from the President

Dear IALD Members and Friends:

Enlighten 2006 is finally upon us!

I am eager for our annual education conference to begin, and for attendees to see first-hand the hard work that the Conference Planning Committee, our headquarters staff and our sponsors have put into Enlighten 2006. San Diego weather bids fair to be cooperative, and the resort location will provide a worthy backdrop for the evening events, made possible by our generous sponsors.

Many of you will be receiving this note upon arriving home from Enlighten 2006. I hope this issue of e-Reflections finds you well, recharged from the sessions in which you have taken part.

For those of you unable to attend this year's conference, keep an eye out for the special conference recap edition of e-Reflections next week.

After perusing summaries of the week's educational, networking and evening events, I am certain that you will save the dates of 11-13 October 2007, when IALD's Enlighten 2007 takes us to the city of Montreal - North America's "International City."

See you soon,

Graham Phoenix, IALD
